MMA Drill – Scramble To Feet Vs Control And Submission

Learn how to improve your ability to control and submit and how to defend submissions and scramble back to your feet with this MMA drill. In this drill one student has to hold the other down and stop them from returning to standing while looking for a submission. The other student has to defend the submissions and find a way to scramble back to their feet and completely exit the grappling exchange.

This is a great drill for MMA as it improves a whole range of skills and tightens up your BJJ / Wrestling / Grappling in general. It’s also great for general conditioning and you can add strikes to make it more MMA specific.
