How To Defend A Single Leg With A Rolling Omoplata / Shoulder Lock
In this video you’ll learn how to defend and escape the Single Leg and turn the escape into a potential Omoplata Should Lock.
This technique can be used when your opponent is trying to lock up a single leg from a grounded position, you start by switching your position out to the side and then quickly forward roll to lock up the opponent’s shoulder. If they pull the arm out then you’ve defended the single leg attempt and if they leave the arm in then you can transition into an Omoplata submission / rolling shoulder lock.
This can be utilised in BJJ, Submission Wrestling or MMA.
