Here’s a wrestling drill that’s great for beginners that are just starting to learn their grappling skills. Starting from a kneeling position both student’s attempt to score a takedown by getting their opponent onto any part of their back. The drill can continue in any position until this has been achieved.
You can also include strikes into this drill so that it’s more MMA focussed and it can also be a fun stamina and conditioning drill.
This drill really helps student’s to become more effective in scramble situations whether it’s MMA, BJJ or Wrestling.
